Most companies are not looking to hire full time employees. They would prefer to hire a bunch of people who they do not have to pay a lot of benefits and high salaries too. One of the ways in which you can get a job and make a good salary is by becoming a bartender.

Bartenders get to enjoy a lot of the perks without any of the hassles that other employees face. Isn’t it great to be able to select the hours that you would like to work and come in during that time? Bartenders get those perks. They can only work weekends if they choose to and make a salary that is similar to employees who are working 5 days a week. That is because they have the benefit of getting tips.

So, what can you expect to make as a bartender? It really depends. Some bartenders make five hundred dollars a week or more just by pouring a few drinks. The bulk of this money comes in the form of tips. A good bartender can serve hundreds of people in a given night. A simple one dollar tip from each of them would result in hundreds of dollars of money for a bartender. That is just in one night!

How do you become a bartender?

The good news is that it is a relatively simple process to become a bartender. You just need to go to a good bartending school in Pittsburgh, Miami, Florida, Chicago, or whatever city you live in. Go to classes for a few weeks and get your bartender’s license to show employers that you are certified. After that, you just need to search for employment and find a job that fits your schedule and salary requirements.
